Moody in the Middle

Welcoming 2026!

Welcoming 2026!

Building a Unified Ecosystem for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing Community

As we step into 2026, I want to take a moment to share what has been happening behind the scenes—and how Moody in the Middle is evolving.

Moody in the Middle remains the umbrella brand—the heart, the mission, and the central place where updates, education, and community connection will continue to live. What’s new is how our work is being intentionally organized underneath that umbrella to better serve the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) community in a sustainable, long-term way.

Clarifying the Structure Moving Forward

Going forward:

  • Moody in the Middle will remain the umbrella name and primary platform

  • MITM LLC will operate and scale services primarily through:

    • HelloUFinancial

    • HelloU Health & Wellness

  • All updates, reflections, and major announcements will continue to be shared here on the Moody in the Middle platform to maintain clarity and continuity

This structure allows us to grow responsibly while keeping the mission centralized and easy to follow.

Why This Evolution Was Necessary

For years, my work as a clinician, service navigator, and advocate revealed the same truth again and again:

Mental health alone is not enough
Housing alone is not enough
Financial education alone is not enough

When these systems operate separately, Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals are left navigating complex challenges on their own.

Moody in the Middle was never meant to be one service—it was meant to be a wraparound ecosystem.

How HelloUFinancial and HelloU Health & Wellness Fit Together

Under the MITM LLC structure:

HelloU Health & Wellness focuses on:

  • Mental health support

  • Coaching and empowerment

  • Advocacy and resource navigation

  • Wellness-centered digital tools and community programming

HelloUFinancial focuses on:

  • Financial education and stability

  • Healthy spending and saving

  • Access to funding resources

  • Housing-related financial pathways

  • Long-term independence planning

Together, these branches allow us to support individuals before, during, and after major life transitions—without fragmentation.

What We’ve Been Building (Quietly and Intentionally)

Throughout 2025, much of the work happened behind the scenes: building structure, compliance, and sustainability. According to our formal business plan, Moody in the Middle and MITM LLC are designed to integrate:

  • Coaching and counseling services

  • Advocacy and resource navigation

  • Digital education and community platforms

  • Accessible housing initiatives

  • Financial literacy and funding pathways

This intentional framework ensures that growth does not outpace integrity or accessibility

Transparency: This Is Not an Easy Journey

It’s important to say this clearly:

This work is not easy—and it isn’t meant to be.

Building systems that truly support the DHH community means navigating:

  • Funding challenges

  • Regulatory requirements

  • Housing and accessibility barriers

  • Long-term sustainability planning

But ease has never been the goal. Impact has.

Looking Ahead to 2026

In 2026, you will continue to see updates shared through Moody in the Middle as we:

  • Expand HelloUFinancial education and resources

  • Grow HelloU Health & Wellness programming

  • Develop accessible housing pathways

  • Strengthen partnerships aligned with our mission

  • Build systems that support long-term stability—not quick fixes

Every decision moving forward is guided by one question:

Does this truly support long-term empowerment for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing community?

If the answer is no, we don’t move forward.

Thank You for Being Here

Whether you’ve been part of this journey from the beginning or you’re just finding us now thank you.

Moody in the Middle remains home.
MITM LLC continues the work through focused, mission-aligned branches.
And the journey continues—honestly, intentionally, and with purpose.
